Year 1962
This picture is from 1962, when the C’est la Vie was built. A Christian Swiss church placed an order to build a school. We are grateful that the creator of this wonderful idea has chosen this unique and enchanting place.
“The guesthouse’s bedrooms are great for mixed groups consisting of couples, families and youth. C’est la Vie offers a extensive kitchen and the outdoor grillplace is just perfect. The flexible staff who will always try to fulfill your wishes. The kids will enjoy the wonderful playground. Hasliberg is a breathtaking place in the mountains with a magnificent panoramic view. This makes the location very attractive for hiking and all the other activities the region offers.
For those who love mountains, I recommend to stay at C’est la Vie. Especially for large groups, the guest house is great! It offers lots of bedrooms and nice playrooms.
”Thanks for your hospitality!”

Johan and Artina first met in C’est la Vie and fell in love.
After a great and unforgettable time of falling in love, the wedding on Hasliberg soon followed.
With her two children, who are now three, Johan and Artina returned to C’est la Vie and fell in love again, this time with the building and the whole property. They saw the possibilities to set up a hostel here – and realized it immediately!
In these years we have worked on our Hostel with great pleasure and passion and are grateful for the many guests we were able to welcome in C’est la Vie. During this time we have been able to renovate a lot of the house and the environment.
The whole C’est la Vie team does everything to make your stay at C’est la Vie as enjoyable as possible. We stay tuned to give our guests the best. That is life or in other words: C’est la vie!
