If you don’t feel like driving all the way to C’est la Vie, you can easily take public transport.
This might not sounds very attractive, but out of experience, we can tell that the train is very comfortable and gives amazing view along the road. You can relax, walk around and have a snack in the train restaurant while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. In this case pictures say more than words.
If you are still doubting rather this is an option, I might pursue you by telling that the full travel costs might not be thát excessive (as you might expect from travelling in Switzerland). There are several cheap flights to airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. At the airport you can buy a ticket to Meiringen (and go up by gondola/ cable car to Hasliberg Reuti) or to Brünig (and take a bus to Hasliberg Reuti). The shuttle bus from the airport to Basel Central Station goes every few minutes. You might have a reasonable stop in Lucerno and enjoy that beautiful town. So, how will or did you come to C’est la vie? Share your experience!
